A short text as a contribution to the performance and installation 'Complex Joy' by Charlotte Livine and André Mulzer, at Fleetstreet Theater in Hamburg.

I joined their residency for a while in March 2024, when we were waiting for Spring, talked about planting seeds, feeling like a baroque fountain and took pictures of flowers – relating public parks to fluctuating emotions. Oliver Bulas contributed to the performance as well, exchanging gifts with visitors and subtly shifting spirits, completing us as a group of four rather different artists, who all had a desire to collaborate, which was indeed as complex as joyful.

The audio file is a one take recording I've made later, at Oosterpark back in Amsterdam.
