From Berlin, a 1 hour summer mix that was broadcasted on the FM (Freies Radio Berlin/Brandenburg) as part of my residency with AIR Berlin Alexanderplatz.
A summer mix as in: a mix of music (songs as textures, feelings) combined with short texts I have been writing (texts as figuring something out through writing and speaking). Plus other ingredients; the voices of Alina Lupu and Angeliki Tzortzakaki who read from a book by Anne Carson, recordings of walks (buiten gebeurt het), a poem by S*an D. Hendry Smith, some samples. The mix touches on life and death, longing, a return to the street and interpersonal relationships - suitable for a casual as well as deliberate type of listening.
